Ocean Racing Fleet

The Ocean Racing Fleet has a variety of races to test the seamanship of its fleet members. Some races are held in Kaneohe's inner bay, other in the outer bay, while still others feature outer island and port-to-port races. These boats must include having their own offshore rescue equipment including horseshoe rescue rings, VHF radios and additional higher levels of safety gear. The yacht club closely monitors who starts and finishes. Boats are typically in sight of some member of the fleet. When racing to other harbors we contact the appropriate harbormaster when required.
